Nu Skin Galvanic Spa

According to Nu Skin’s website, the Galvanic Spa Facial Gels with ageLoc work “to restore skin's natural vibrancy by removing impurities and promoting cellular energy.” They claim that you will achieve “spa results at home in as little as 10 minutes.” The Pre-Treatment Gel contains marigold, sea kelp and vanilla extracts while the Treatment Gel contains arginine and magnesium, which are intended to promote healthy skin at the cellular level when used with the Galvanic Spa System II.

The Galvanic Spa Body Shaping Gel is a treatment for that monster of a beauty issue, cellulite. No matter how much exercise and dieting we undertake, there’s always that little bit of cellulite left in the most inconvenient places. Nu Skin designed the Galvanic Spa Body Shaping Gel—like the facial treatments—for use in conjunction with the Galvanic Spa System II.

It’s ingredients include theobromine (from cacao) and golden chamomile. Nu Skin doesn’t claim the impossible by saying the system will get rid of cellulite completely, but they do say that it “minimizes and smoothes the appearance of cellulite…” by breaking down fat, reducing fat storage, increasing circulation, increasing skin firmness and evening out dimpled areas.

The Galvanic Spa System II is a hand-held device that works in conjunction with the treatment gels to deliver a small galvanic current to your skin. Nu Skin includes several different attachment conductors with the system that are designed for your scalp, body, and face.

While the complete system isn’t cheap, it is certainly less expensive than repeated visits to the spa. People who find themselves too busy to care for their skin appropriately may find it to be practical.
